Operational Principal

In its closed position, the seal is inflated against the surface of the ball segment. Prior to opening, the seal automatically deflates and retracts into the valve body. The segment head is then rotated to its open position providing unrestricted flow-path for the material to either enter or exit the valve.

This technology, insuring that the seal is always out of the product flow-path, provides minimal seal-wear while maintaining seal integrity.
