Overview of the HEINKEL Vertical Basket Filter Centrifuge

Vertical Basket centrifuges are built for processes with easy-to-filter characteristics. These machines are loaded from the top and then the solids are removed either manually or with an automatic Peel Knife.

HEINKEL's Vertical Basket Filter Centrifuge Operational Principal

Vertical Basket machines are most often used for easy-to-filter applications or where operator exposure is not a concern.

The bowl is filled, the cake is washed, and the solids are either removed manually (top load / manual dig out), by an overhead hoist (top load / top discharge), or by a peel mechanism (top load / bottom discharge).
