At the POWTECH 2013 in Nuremberg, dated 23rd till 25th of April, HEINKEL DRYING AND SEPARATION GROUP will present its innovations and highlights from its extensive product portfolio. Every 18 months POWTECH, the international number one for powder, granule and bulk solids technologies brings together the European market leaders. Approximately 700 exhibitors from more than 20 countries present their products in the fields of mechanical processing technologies, plant engineering and processing components, equipment for measurement, control and automation, products for nanoparticle technology, safety and environmental technology.
The HEINKEL DRYING AND SEPARATION GROUP provides at the POWTECH in April 2013 product innovations and highlights of the brands BOLZ-SUMMIX, COMBER, ELLERWERK, GFT and HEINKEL. The group provides one of the most diversified product ranges in the field of centrifuges, dryers, agitated nutsche filters, filterdryers, mixers and system components for the pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, chemistry and food production industries.
The experts of the HEINKEL group inform regarding the newly developed BS-pilotDRY® which is not only a traditional conical screw dryer, it can also be used as a central shaft dryer. The innovative hybrid stirrer allows drying and mixing processes to be simulated and tested in only one appliance using different mixing tools.
The company is thus doing justice to increased requirements of industrial customers for safe handling, completely contained operation, flexibility and efficiency. Mainly, however, they are meeting the demand for devices suitable for use in potentially explosive areas in ATEX zones 1 and 2.
The new HEINKEL-Ball Segment Valve of the ULTIMO series can also be opened under very critical conditions like product sticking or baking due to its special pneumatically lowerable ball segment. The advantage is that even in critical applications the Ball Segment Valve does not have to be removed to free the ball segment because opening is guaranteed by the lowering action. Like all HEINKEL Ball Segment Valves the series UTLIMO also offers a diversity of established and proven additional functions: Nitrogen injection to unblock products, sight glasses and various CIP-functions or a heat-able ball segment to avoid condensation and hence the resulting of product bridging.
Moreover, Heinkel will present the new vertical Top-discharge centrifuge V 400 TP. Due to the newly designed bearing unit as an exchangeable cartridge, the same bearing unit can be used for different bowl sizes. This reduces the work of disassembly and assembly and warehousing. For the different sizes of machines the bowls are simply to exchange. The centrifuge is non-stationary and can be used with an inerting unit and explosion-proof control in ATEX Zone 1.
